The Mesquite Business Owners have their own special way of saying “so-long summer, hello shopping snowbirds!” The event last year was such a hit, they are bringing it back and making it bigger. The city closes off Yucca Street between Mesquite Blvd, and 1st st S., literally turning it into a summer block party. This year, they are adding a classic car show, rally and poker run. Come on out and enjoy the food, fun and entertainment brought to you by US! Kicking things off is the newest, coolest hottest rock band to move to Mesquite VON SWAYZE ! Followed by Scott Grove of Groovy Productions playing all of your favorite tunes from the 60s. The big show is at 530pm and 730pm with singer Christy Copeland, the Mesquite Downtown Dancers, and a custom video of the classic stars and cars of the 60’s projected on a 14×10 jumbo screen. Venezia Entertainment is proud to have been asked by the Dubai Summer Festival Committee to send a few acts to Dubai this summer for this annual event. From June 17th to July 20th, 2008, ORIENTARHYTHM, a unique martial arts/dance team from Japan wowed the huge audiences with their sharp execution of their never before seen act. American Billboard awarded singer/songwriter RB STONE is comming to the Mesquite Community Theatre April 5, 2008.
